Hard Pushed and Twice Alive - Composer needed!
Hey all -
For my western project, entitled "Hard Pushed and Twice Alive" I am looking for a composer. Because all graphical assets in the game are being created from scratch, I feel like it'd be a big letdown to have all the game music be ripped from western games (like Wild Arms). I am looking for someone who preferably works in MP3 format as opposed to midi. The ideal song type I'm hoping to create is the classic spaghetti western style stuff (acoustic guitar, whistling, trumpet, bells, wood block, etc), however I'd definitely be open to someone who wants to put a different spin on it. Flaky/non-committal people need not apply. I've put a hell of a lot of time into making the graphics as best as I can, and I still have a long ways to go, so I want someone that is willing to contribute over many months.

If I forgot to mention anything let me know, and if anyone has questions feel free to send me a PM.

Alter A.I.L.A Genesis mostly, but Junk Man looks pretty interesting.
Ohoho, keep your eyes peeled, because in a few short days I will have info for my other project posted as well.
Voice acting in games
Yeah I was amazed myself, but there are lots of people who are great voice actors but don't have careers in it yet, so they're willing to do work for free to bolster their portfolios.

I think the main problem is that RPG makers don't have access to people who would be good voice actors, are good voice actors, or would be willing to do it in the first place.
There are tons of people who do it for free, and do it well with good equipment. When I was really into doing flash movies I found a message board online of voice actors that mostly do pro-bono work. You just go and post the info about your project, characters needed, and descriptions of what their voices should sound like. I got dozens of auditions for one flash animation, I had so many I had to turn a bunch of people away.

I heard of an app that takes a voice clip and "16-bit"-itizes it so that it sounds like it'd be from an SNES game. I wish I knew what it was because something like THAT would work great for these SNES-era games we pump out. At least better than straight-up voice acting.
If you can find this I would very much be interested in seeing it!
Cast Aside
I played this for a while and had a lot of fun with it. It really exudes professionalism. All the systems, the presentation, the graphics, everything is spot-on.
Relations with The Gender of Your Preference
I'm really amazed at how inexperienced in the dating world so many people on here are. I'm shy, nerdy, and socially awkward, and yet I've "seriously" dated about 8 people now (I'm 21). A lot of peoples' excuses and defeatist attitudes are pretty sad. Optimism is key.
Relations with The Gender of Your Preference
Apparently I'm part of a minority, I am with my dream girl. Took years of dating lots of people but it ended up working out, and now I'm with the person I'm going to marry.
If you are shy and looking for a way to meet girls, you could get a tattoo. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I can't even begin to tell you how many times complete strangers have started conversations with me by asking about my tattoos. One thing leads to another and next thing you know they're asking to give you their number. I've had to turn a few girls down that were trying to ask me out, and I'm a pretty reserved person who rarely talks to strangers.
